The other morning I was craving something healthy for breakfast. I hadn’t eaten granola in a while so I decided to use up the last bit that I had.. Images of my Amaretto Berry Parfait came to my mind but I knew that was way too indulgent for me so early in the morning. I decided to simplify things by just making a simple fruit salad, layering it between yogurt and granola and just calling it a day. Easy, delicious breakfast just like that!
Ingredients: (makes two parfaits)
2 6oz containers of Greek yogurt
1/2-1 cup of granola
2 kiwis
1/4 cup blueberries
10 strawberries
1 tbsp honey
Method:
1. Make fruit salad first by peeling kiwis, chopping them and the strawberries into small pieces and then mixing in honey and whole blueberries.
2. Layer yogurt, granola and fruit as you like into a glass.
Enjoy!
Isn’t that fruit pretty? It surely was yummy!
Bye For Now…..

So refreshing, love this breakfast.
Yummy!
I love crunchy foods so for sure this would fit into my scheme of things.
These are so healthy, cute and delicious! Mind if I have it for breakfast and lunch and dinner and at midnight?
:D

Those are THE PRETTIEST strawberries I have ever seen in my whole life. Your photos are gorgeous! I had a granola craving yesterday (unfortunately Evan and I had already devoured all the strawberries here) so I made a batch with the express purpose of sprinkling it on vanilla frozen yogurt. Mmmmmmmm.
See http://feralkitchen.com/2012/03/25/strawberry-bread for a super pretty strawberry! Sooooo gorgeous.
Ummm… I think that was the prettiest strawberry I ever saw. In my whole life. And then it went to live in some bread… I’m not sure which is better! But I AM SURE that I will be buying more strawberries. Pronto.
That’s what I’m talking about, that looks delicious for a nice easy pick me up.
Perfect – it´s strawberry time here. Yippee!!
One of my favorite things to eat! Yum!!
