Quite a mouthful there huh? Shall we cut it down to just Trail Mix Smoothie with banana and peanut butter? What’s that you say? It’s the same thing? Well I was only trying to help….So I guess we’ll stick with the name in the title. Oh wait how about BPB Trail Mix Smoothie? Sounds mysterious doesn’t it? Ahhh, knew you’d like it! Whatever we end up calling this concoction, just know it tastes amazing. I had a trail mix package in my pantry and my girl friends and I have been trying to drink at least one smoothie a day, so trying to be creative, I thought I’d just blend my trail mix with some milk, add a banana and some peanut butter and abracadabra, my smoothie for the day
Ingredients:
1 8 ounce package of trail mix (Mine had banana chips, papaya, mango, coconut and almonds)
1 cup coconut milk (Recipe HERE)
1 banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 cup water (optional) (to thin it out a little)
Method:
1. Throw it all in a blender and let that bad boy liquefy these goodies
I quadrupled my recipe and made a whole (Ocean Spray) bottle of this smoothie to last me a couple days. I added some flax seeds to it as well.
It left me feeling full and healthy-ish throughout the day.
Other smoothies that I’ve made for the week so far.
First up is this delicious Strawberry Banana Smoothie made with coconut milk. Yum-O!
Then the Carrot Ginger Smoothie (which contained an apple, a freshly squeezed orange & water)
Then I had this delicious Banana PiƱa Colada Smoothie. This contained a banana, coconut milk and canned pineapple slices. It was sooo good!
Bye For Now…..

So many delicious smoothie recipes my friend :D
